Our client is looking for an experienced

General Manager – Operations to lead large-scale

GIS, ArcGIS, Navigation, LiDAR, Annotation & Labeling, Utility, and Mapping operations

.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end

GIS, ArcGIS, Navigation, LiDAR, Annotation & Labeling, Utility, and Mapping operations

, including planning, resource allocation, delivery, quality, productivity, and budgets.

- Manage large and diverse teams and drive operational excellence, productivity, scalability, and continuous improvement

.

- Oversee projects involving

GIS mapping, geospatial data, navigation, LiDAR processing, annotation, labeling, utility mapping, and engineering services

.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and senior stakeholders

.

- Understand client requirements and ensure delivery meets quality, timelines, SLAs, and business expectations

.

- Drive adoption of

GIS technologies, ArcGIS platforms, LiDAR solutions, navigation technologies, mapping tools, and operational best practices

.

- Collaborate with technology, delivery, quality, business development, and other cross-functional teams to deliver strategic business initiatives.

- Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, automation, technology adoption, and delivery scalability

.

- Mentor leadership teams and build a culture of innovation, agility, accountability, and continuous improvement

.





- Represent the organization in leadership meetings, client discussions, conferences, and industry events

.

Requirements

- 18+ years of overall experience

, with

10+ years in Operations / Delivery Management

.

- Solid experience in

GIS, ArcGIS, Navigation, LiDAR, Annotation & Labeling, Utility, Mapping, or Engineering Services

.

- Strong understanding of the

GIS, Geospatial, Utility, Navigation, LiDAR, and Mapping ecosystem

, including client dynamics and competitive landscape.

- Hands-on understanding of

ArcGIS / GIS platforms, geospatial data processing, LiDAR workflows, navigation data, mapping, and annotation/labeling operations

.

- Proven experience managing large teams, multi-location operations, and complex delivery environments

.

- Strong customer relationship management skills with mid-to-executive-level stakeholders

.

- Experience working with

Tier-1 GIS, Utility, Mapping, Navigation, Geospatial, or Engineering Services clients

.

- Strong stakeholder management and international client-facing experience

.

- Proven track record in operational strategy, P&L; / budget management, productivity improvement, and delivery governance

.

- PMP / PRINCE2 / equivalent Project Management certification preferred/required.

- Familiarity with project management and delivery tools such as

MS Project, Jira

, etc.
