Gen AI Engineer (LLM + RAG)

Pune / Chennai / Bengaluru | Full time | 6-9 years

Altimetrik is hiring a Gen AI Engineer to design and deliver LLM-powered applications and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions for enterprise use cases.

What you’ll do

- Design, build and deploy GenAI applications using LLMs and RAG pipelines
- Develop prompt engineering, embedding and vector search solutions
- Integrate LLM APIs and frameworks into production applications
- Evaluate and improve model output quality, accuracy and safety
- Work with product, data and engineering teams to turn business needs into AI solutions
- Deploy and monitor AI applications on cloud platforms

What we’re looking for

- 6-9 years of overall experience, with hands-on work on LLM and RAG projects
- Strong Python skills
- Experience with LLM frameworks (LangChain or LlamaIndex) and vector databases
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, embeddings and agentic workflows
- Experience deploying AI applications on AWS, Azure or GCP
- Valuable problem-solving and communication skills

Pay: Up to ₹2,800,000.00 per year
