Gen AI Dev. ( Work from Office )

We are hiring two Gen AI Dev. to integrate intelligent AI capabilities into a live SaaS platform serving customers and businesses across Europe. You’ll use TypeScript throughout the stack to connect large language models and generative AI systems with real-world product features.

Your responsibilities will include crafting effective prompts, implementing structured outputs, developing reliable evaluations and automated tests, and ensuring AI-generated recommendations operate within clearly defined business rules and safeguards. This is a hands-on product engineering position focused on building and shipping practical AI solutions rather than conducting research or training models. We actively use AI coding agents in our daily development workflow and expect you to incorporate them into yours as well.

This prospect is ideal for engineers with 2–5 years of professional experience who are excited to build reliable, AI-powered products.

What You’ll Do

- AI Feature Development: Build end-to-end features powered by large language models, covering prompt design, structured responses, API integration, user interfaces, and automated testing.
- Generative Media Integration: Implement image-generation and image-editing models, evaluating their performance in terms of quality, response time, and cost per output.
- Business Logic and Safeguards: Ensure AI-generated results are treated as suggestions and pass through deterministic validation and business rules before being presented to users.
- Evaluation and Testing: Create evaluation datasets and automated testing workflows to objectively measure the impact of changes to prompts and models.
- Data Integration: Import, transform, map, and validate structured data from external partners, leveraging AI to reduce manual effort wherever practical.
- Configuration Tools: Develop intuitive tools that enable non-technical administrators to manage and customize business rules safely.
- Production Reliability: Implement logging and monitoring for resource-intensive AI operations, investigate production issues, and deliver effective fixes.
- AI-Powered Development: Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor,



or similar tools as part of your daily workflow, while maintaining strong testing practices and ensuring code quality and reliability.

What We’re Looking For

- Professional Experience: 2–5 years of software engineering experience, including hands-on experience delivering at least one LLM-powered feature to a production environment.
- Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with the ability to write and work with SQL confidently.
- LLM Engineering: Practical experience with OpenAI or Anthropic APIs, prompt design, structured outputs, schema validation tools such as Zod, and function or tool calling.
- Testing and Evaluation: Ability to develop automated tests and evaluation frameworks for applications that rely on non-deterministic AI model outputs.
- Data Engineering: Familiarity with PostgreSQL, data modelling, and the challenges of processing, cleaning, and validating inconsistent data from external sources.
- AI-Assisted Coding: Regular, hands-on experience with AI coding agents, along with the technical judgement to review, validate, and improve their generated code.
- Additional Skills: Experience with image-generation APIs, vector databases and search using pgvector, background job processing with Redis or BullMQ, Next.js and React, Three.js, Python for evaluation scripts, or proficiency in German would be an advantage
