Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced GCP Platform Administrator to manage, maintain, monitor, and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for cloud operations, infrastructure administration, security, access management, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the availability and reliability of GCP environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure and services.

- Manage GCP projects, folders, organizations, resource hierarchy, and billing configurations.

- Configure and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM), service accounts, and access permissions.

- Administer core GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud DNS, and Cloud Load Balancing.

- Monitor infrastructure health, performance, availability, and resource utilization.

- Configure alerts, dashboards, logging, and monitoring using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.

- Manage networking components, including VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, routes, and connectivity.

- Implement security controls, policies, encryption, and compliance requirements.

- Perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity activities.

- Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and resolve production issues within agreed SLAs.

- Support cloud cost optimization, resource utilization reviews, and capacity planning.





- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools.

- Coordinate with cloud engineering, DevOps, security, and application teams.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform administration and operations.

- Strong knowledge of GCP resource hierarchy, projects, IAM, and service accounts.

- Experience managing Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, firewall rules, and networking.

- Knowledge of Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, alerting, and incident management.

- Experience with cloud security, access controls, and troubleshooting.

- Understanding of backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery.

- Knowledge of Linux/Windows server administration and basic networking concepts.

- Experience with cloud operations, production support, and SLA management.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Google Cloud certifications, such as Associate Cloud Engineer or Skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer.

- Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

- Knowledge of scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

- Exposure to GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) and container technologies.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Knowledge of cloud cost management and optimization.

- Experience with enterprise cloud governance and policy management.
