About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Java Spring Boot Developer to join our team for a remote, part-time opportunity. We are seeking a backend developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Angular front end, REST APIs, and microservices architecture to build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and develop microservices-based applications.
- Write clean, reusable, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Implement unit and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Work with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, architects, and DevOps engineers.
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and delivery activities.




- Support CI/CD integration and application deployment processes.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP concepts, and design patterns.
- Strong hands on experience in Angular Front end services.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
- Experience developing microservices architecture.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and web services.
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control practices.
- Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and system design.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Kafka, message queues, or messaging systems.
- Knowledge of MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Exposure to Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of OAuth2, JWT, and application security best practices.
