Key Deliverables (Essential functions & Responsibilities of the Job):

As a Finance and Operations Manager, your focus will be on managing store operations, leading your team, and driving sales. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Team Leadership & Development:

- Build a Strong Team: Develop a motivated, high-performing store team.

- Lead by Example: Promote sales opportunities and coach your team to deliver results.

- Team Performance: Manage supervisors and staff with effective coaching, feedback, and regular performance reviews.

2. Store Operations & Layout:

- Follow Store Guidelines: Ensure the store layout matches Marks and Spencer’s brand standards.

- Seasonal Setup: Make sure the store’s seasonal look is executed accurately and on time.

- Staffing & Rotas: Plan staff schedules, ensuring key events are well-staffed.

3. Sales & Performance Management:

- Drive Sales: Enhance sales by analyzing trends like footfall and conversion rates.

- Achieve Targets:



Monitor sales targets and take corrective actions if needed.

- Manage Stock: Ensure smooth and accurate stock processes and reduce losses from damaged goods.

4. Customer Experience & Feedback:

- Customer Connection: Build relationships with customers and understand their needs.

- Train Staff: Ensure staff are trained in customer service and continuously improve store performance through feedback.

5. Health & Safety Compliance:

- Safety Standards: Ensure the store fully complies with health and safety requirements.

6. Visual Merchandising:

- Layout Coordination: Work with the Visual Merchandiser to ensure the store layout and displays are attractive and sequential.

7. Communication & Recognition:

- Staff Engagement: Regularly brief your team, recognize achievements, and maintain staff motivation.
