About The Role We are looking for an experienced Finance and Accounts Manager to oversee the existing accounts team at a Mumbai-based real estate company. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Tally, and a good understanding of GST filings and compliance. The role involves reviewing the work of the accounts team, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and taking ownership of day-to-day accounting and compliance activities.

We are looking for someone who can work independently, guide the existing team, and ensure that accounting processes run smoothly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and review the day-to-day accounting activities handled by the existing accounts team.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts using Tally.
- Review accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records.
- Oversee GST-related work, including return preparation, reconciliations, and timely filings.
- Monitor accounting activities and ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure proper documentation.




- Guide and supervise the accounts team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of work.
- Coordinate with external accountants, tax consultants, or auditors as required.
- Keep the management informed about accounting and compliance-related matters.

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong working knowledge of Tally.
- Hands-on experience with GST filings and related compliance.
- Experience reviewing accounting records and overseeing accounting operations.
- Ability to supervise an existing accounts team and review its work.
- Good understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and statutory compliance.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
