About the Role

Accel IT Services is looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Field Support Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance services at client locations across Ernakulam and Pala. The role requires frequent travel to customer sites for installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and peripheral devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit customer locations to provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
- Perform installation, upgrades, and configuration of Windows operating systems and business applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot printer-related issues, including hardware faults, connectivity, and driver-related problems.




- Provide first-level support for network connectivity issues involving LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Carry out preventive maintenance of IT equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Replace faulty hardware components and coordinate warranty support when required.
- Perform data backup, restoration, and system migration activities.
- Maintain service reports, visit logs, and support documentation.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer issues and adherence to service commitments.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for effective issue management and closure.

Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Certifications such as A+, N+, MCP, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience in field support, desktop support, or technical support.
