Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-oriented Centrifugal Pump Sales and Aftermarket Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and aftermarket spares and services related to centrifugal pumps across various industries. This role combines both field and desk responsibilities, requiring an individual who is adept at building strong customer relationships, understanding technical requirements, and providing exceptional after-sales support.

Key Responsibilities: Sales (Field & Desk Job)

 Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and expand the customer base for centrifugal pump products and services.

 Client Interaction: Engage with customers to understand their needs, recommend suitable centrifugal pump solutions, and provide quotations.

 Product Presentations: Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting product features and benefits.

 Sales Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability.

 Order Management: Process sales orders, track progress, and coordinate delivery schedules with the production and logistics teams.

 Market Research: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor products, and customer requirements to inform sales strategies.

 Customer Feedback: Gather customer feedback and technical data from field visits to improve product offerings and service quality.

Aftermarket Support

 Technical Support: Provide post-sales technical assistance to customers,



including troubleshooting and resolving pump-related issues.

 Service Coordination: Organize and manage repair, maintenance, and upgrade services for centrifugal pumps.

 Spare Parts Management: Coordinate the supply of replacement parts, ensuring timely availability and delivery.

 Customer Training: Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of centrifugal pumps to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

 Customer Satisfaction: Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring their needs are met and resolving any service-related issues promptly.

Requirements:

 Educational Qualifications:

o BE/B. Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

 Experience:

o Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, service, or technical support related to centrifugal pumps or similar mechanical systems.

o Prior experience in sales of industrial equipment or pumps is highly desirable.

 Technical Skills:

o Strong understanding of centrifugal pump operations, applications, and troubleshooting.

o Knowledge of pump selection, installation, and maintenance procedures.

o Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and operational manuals.

 Sales & Communication Skills:

o Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building solid customer relationships.

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

o Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner.

 Field Experience:

o Willingness to travel and conduct field visits as needed.

o Ability to work independently in both field and office environments.

 Additional Skills:
