Job Summary: Execute and support fermentation operations in accordance with approved process parameters, SOPs, quality requirements and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparation and readiness of fermenters, media, materials and equipment before the start of operations.
- Carry out fermentation activities and monitor assigned process parameters according to approved instructions.
- Maintain accurate fermentation logs, batch records, material usage and process observations.
- Coordinate sampling and communicate results or unusual observations to the supervisor/Quality team as required.
- Ensure cleaning, sanitization and equipment readiness activities are completed and recorded as per SOPs.
- Identify and promptly report process deviations, equipment abnormalities or potential contamination.
- Support process troubleshooting, yield improvement and routine operational improvement initiatives.
- Follow personal hygiene, biosafety, housekeeping and waste-handling requirements at all times.
