Role & responsibilities

- Plant Operations: Run and monitor ETP machinery, including pumps, blowers, clarifiers, filters, aeration tanks, and dosing systems.

- Parameter Monitoring: Check and log critical water quality indicators such as pH, TDS, COD, BOD, DO, and flow rates.

- Chemical Dosing: Prepare and administer treatment chemicals like alum, polyelectrolyte, urea, DAP, and chlorine based on standard operating procedures.

- Sampling & Testing: Collect effluent and water samples regularly to test treatment effectiveness.

- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine inspections, clean filters or media, transparent clogged pumps, and report mechanical or electrical faults to the maintenance team.

- Record Keeping: Maintain daily logbooks, shift handover reports, and compliance documentation for Pollution Control Board (PCB) audits.

- Safety & Housekeeping: Follow safety protocols, wear personal protective equipment (PPE) during chemical handling, and keep the plant area clean.
