Job Summary:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and equipment. Ensure electrical safety and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Installation:1. Read blueprints and diagrams to determine electrical requirements.

- Install wiring, circuits, and electrical equipment.3. Connect electrical systems to power sources.

Maintenance and Repair:1. Inspect and test electrical systems.2. Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.3. Repair or replace defective equipment and components.

Safety and Compliance:1. Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.2. Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.3. Implement lockout/tagout procedures.

Other Responsibilities:1. Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople.2.



Maintain records of work performed.3. Assist with electrical upgrades and renovations.4. Provide emergency electrical support.

Requirements:Education and Training

- High school diploma or equivalent.2. Completion of apprenticeship program or vocational training.

Experience:1. 2+ years of experience in electrical work.2. Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.

Skills:1. Knowledge of electrical theory and circuits.2. Proficiency with hand tools and electrical testing equipment.3. Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.4. Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.5. Effective communication and teamwork.
