As an EMI/EMC and Safety Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing to ensure our products comply with relevant regulatory standards. Additionally, you will oversee safety testing procedures to guarantee that our products meet safety requirements and mitigate potential risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and oversee EMI/EMC testing procedures on recent and existing products according to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

- Develop and implement test plans and protocols for EMI/EMC and safety testing.

- Utilize specialized testing equipment and tools to measure and analyze electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility.

- Identify and troubleshoot EMI/EMC issues, recommending design changes or improvements to ensure compliance.

- Perform safety testing, including but not limited to electrical safety, radiation safety,



and product safety assessments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D;, engineering, and manufacturing to address EMI/EMC and safety-related concerns.

- Document test procedures, results, and compliance reports for internal and external review.

- Stay updated with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies related to EMI/EMC and safety testing practices.

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree or Diploma or I.T.I in Electronics / Telecommunication / Electrical is preferred.

- Proven experience in EMI/EMC testing, safety compliance, or related fields.

- Strong understanding of EMI/EMC testing methodologies, standards (such as FCC, CISPR, IEC), and compliance requirements.

- Proficiency in using testing equipment and software for EMI/EMC measurements and analysis.

- Knowledge of safety testing protocols, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Certifications in EMI/EMC testing or safety compliance (e.g., Certified EMC Engineer) would be advantageous.
