- Technical Operations Job Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Job Type: Full-time Job Purpose To carry out EV retrofitment kit installation, vehicle inspection, testing, maintenance, and technical troubleshooting for three-wheeler vehicles. The technician must ensure all installations are completed safely, accurately, and within the prescribed timelines.

Key Responsibilities 1. EV Retrofitment &

- Installation - Install EV retrofitment kits in three-wheeler vehicles as per company SOPs.
- Handle installation of motors, controllers, wiring harnesses, batteries, and related EV components.
- Perform vehicle dismantling, assembly, and fitment activities as required.
- Ensure proper electrical connections and mechanical fitment. 2.

Technical

Troubleshooting - Identify and rectify installation-related technical issues.

- Assist in diagnosing motor, controller, wiring, battery, and other EV system faults.
- Report recurring technical problems to the Works Manager or Technical Team.
- Support product testing and technical improvements. 3.

Vehicle

Inspection &

- Testing - Conduct pre-installation and post-installation vehicle inspections.
- Perform functional checks and road tests under authorised procedures.
- Verify vehicle performance and installation quality before delivery.
- Complete installation checklists and inspection reports.
- Service &
- Field Support - Attend field visits for vehicle inspections, technical complaints, and installation support whenever required.
- Support breakdown diagnosis and on-site technical troubleshooting.




- Travel to customer locations, dealerships, and other workshops as assigned. 5.

Workshop

Management &

- Safety - Maintain tools, equipment, and the installation work area.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and workshop guidelines.
- Maintain proper records of installed kits, used materials, and pending jobs.
- Coordinate with the Works Manager to complete installations within the committed turnaround time.

Required Qualifications &

Skills - ITI or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering preferred.

- Experience in automobile workshop operations, vehicle servicing, electrical work, or EV installation is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of three-wheeler vehicles, electrical wiring, motors, controllers, and EV components.
- Practical troubleshooting and hands-on installation skills.
- Willingness to learn EV retrofitment technology and follow technical instructions.
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork whenever required.

Key Performance

Indicators (KPIs) 1. Number of installations completed within the target timeline.

- Installation quality and reduction in rework.
- Accuracy of vehicle inspection and testing.
- Timely resolution of technical issues.
- Compliance with safety procedures and company SOPs.
- Proper maintenance of tools, materials, and installation records.

Key Role Requirement: This is a hands-on technical position specifically focused on three-wheeler EV retrofitment, kit installation, and technical troubleshooting. The candidate must be comfortable working in the workshop and attending field visits whenever required.
