Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with 2–3.5 years of experience in solar power projects to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of electrical systems, solar PV installations, electrical drawings, site execution, testing, and commissioning activities. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, execution, installation, and maintenance of solar power projects while ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the design, planning, and execution of solar PV power projects.
- Prepare, review, and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring diagrams.
- Support solar module installation, inverter installation, DC/AC cabling, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors for timely project execution.
- Monitor site activities and ensure work is completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct electrical inspections, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of solar power systems.
- Assist in cable sizing, load calculations, equipment selection, and preparation of material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and applicable electrical standards.
- Prepare daily progress reports, site inspection reports, and technical documentation.
- Identify technical issues at project sites and coordinate with the concerned teams for resolution.
- Support operation and maintenance activities, including fault identification and performance monitoring, as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E.



in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- 2–3.5 years of relevant experience in solar PV projects, preferably in the Solar EPC industry.
- Knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical panels, DC/AC cabling, earthing, and protection systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Basic knowledge of solar project installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Good problem-solving, communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites whenever required.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rooftop or ground-mounted solar power projects.
- Knowledge of HT/LT systems, transformers, switchgear, and electrical protection equipment.
- Familiarity with applicable electrical safety standards and solar project quality requirements.
- Experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
