The role supports the Purchase Team by maintaining robust vendor relationships, optimizing inventory levels, and providing technical input for material selection. It also focuses on improving procurement processes and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Procurement Management

- Oversee the procurement process for electrical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Manage the procurement of electrical switchgear, MCC (Motor Control Centre) panels, PCC (Power Control Centre) panels, electrical cables, and related equipment.

2. Vendor Management

- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

3. Inventory Control

- Manage inventory levels of electrical components, monitoring stock levels,



and reordering supplies as needed to avoid shortages.

4. Cost Management

- Analyze costs and pricing structures to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in procurement processes.

5. Compliance

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and procurement activities.

6. Documentation

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and agreements, ensuring proper documentation and filing for future reference.

7. Technical Support

- Provide technical support to internal stakeholders regarding the selection and procurement of electrical materials and equipment.

8. Continuous Improvement

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the procurement function.
