Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Edifecs Developer with strong knowledge of Healthcare EDI and development skills in Java, SQL, and APIs. The candidate should also have exposure to Azure AI and AI-assisted engineering tools.

Candidates with either of the following skill combinations can be considered:

- Edifecs knowledge with robust Java, SQL, API, Azure AI, and AI skills, (OR)
- Strong hands-on Edifecs experience with basic Java, SQL, API, Azure AI, and AI knowledge

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and support Healthcare EDI solutions using the Edifecs Healthcare Suite.
- Create and modify maps, guidelines, and profiles using SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, and EAM.
- Work with healthcare transactions such as 270/271, 278, 820, 834, 835, and 837 I/P/D.
- Configure trading partners, validation rules, severity files, and engine configurations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transmissions using Edifecs Transaction Manager.
- Develop and support integrations using Java, SQL, APIs, and Groovy scripting.
- Work with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and Azure AI services.




- Use AI-assisted tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or ChatGPT for development, analysis, troubleshooting, and productivity.

Mandatory Skills

- Hands-on experience with Healthcare EDI and Edifecs.
- Knowledge of Edifecs SpecBuilder, MapBuilder, EAM, or Transaction Manager.
- Understanding of HIPAA X12 healthcare transactions.
- Experience with Java, SQL, and API integrations.
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure and Azure AI.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the US Healthcare Payer domain.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Git, or GitHub.
- Experience with Groovy scripting.
- Understanding of claims, enrollment, eligibility, remittance, or authorization workflows.

Locations: Bangalore / Hyderabad / Pune / Chennai / Vadodara Shift: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
