Are you fascinated by how engines, propulsion systems, and aerodynamic components behave under real-world operating conditions?

Do you enjoy going beyond textbook equations and using engineering software to solve challenging technical problems?

Vector Dynamics is looking for a technically curious engineering student interested in drone propulsion, computational simulation, and advanced engineering analysis.

? What You'll Work On

- Engineering simulation of drone propulsion components and related systems
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and flow analysis
- Geometry preparation, computational meshing, and simulation setup
- Analysis of pressure, velocity, temperature, and other relevant engineering parameters
- Interpretation of simulation results and preparation of technical reports
- Improving simulation quality through systematic testing, validation, and iteration

?️ Skills We're Looking For

Preferred skills

- ANSYS Fluent, CFX, or other relevant ANSYS simulation tools
- CFD fundamentals and fluid mechanics
- Understanding of computational meshing and mesh independence
- CAD and 3D geometry preparation

You dont meet the criteria above but have good physics knowledge and a passion to learn propulsion systems, you should still apply.

Note:



Candidates are expected to use there own hardware during the internship period with guidance. Company laptop will be provided after full time offer.

We're particularly interested in students who:

✅ Are currently pursuing their 2nd or 3rd year at an IIT

✅ Have a Mechanical Engineering background or solid fundamentals in fluid mechanics

✅ Have completed academic projects involving CFD, ANSYS, or engineering simulation

✅ Are self-driven, detail-oriented, and willing to learn independently

You don't need to know everything already. Strong fundamentals, practical problem-solving ability, and a willingness to learn matter just as much as prior software experience.
