Key Responsibilities

- Own district-level sales volume, revenue, market penetration and business-development targets.

- Develop and implement annual and monthly sales strategies aligned with company objectives.

- Expand and strengthen the dealer, distributor, retailer and stockist network across the district.

- Identify high-potential markets, underserved territories and recent business opportunities.

- Lead, guide and review the performance of Area In-charges and Sales Officers, where applicable.

- Monitor primary and secondary sales, dealer stock, product movement, outstanding dues and collection efficiency.

- Build strong relationships with key dealers, major contractors, builders, infrastructure customers and other channel partners.

- Develop territory-wise sales plans, dealer productivity benchmarks and market-coverage strategies.

- Track competitors' prices, discounts, schemes, product availability and market activities.

- Drive brand visibility, dealer engagement, promotional campaigns and customer-development initiatives.





- Review sales forecasts, pipeline, market feedback and performance MIS; recommend corrective action.

- Coordinate with production planning, dispatch, logistics and finance teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.

- Manage escalations involving pricing, supply, credit and customer relationships.

- Ensure disciplined execution of sales policies, credit controls and collection plans.

Required Skills

- Extensive experience in TMT bar / steel / building-material sales.

- Strong district-level dealer and distributor network.

- Proven track record of achieving sales and collection targets.

- Experience in channel development, territory planning and market expansion.

- Leadership capability with a focus on team productivity and accountability.

- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.

- Ability to analyse sales MIS, market trends, dealer performance and competitor activity.
