Rathinam Group of Institutions is looking for a dynamic, industry-connected leader to drive the establishment and growth of Centres of Excellence (CoEs), industry partnerships and innovation initiatives across the Group.

We are seeking a professional who can connect with industry leaders and technology companies, analyse emerging technologies and industry requirements, identify strategic opportunities, and translate them into fully operational, industry-aligned CoE laboratories and innovation ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and leverage strong relationships with industry leaders, CXOs, technology companies, MNCs and startups.
- Identify, plan and implement industry-sponsored technology laboratories and Centres of Excellence, such as Intel Labs, Apple Labs and other relevant technology labs, subject to partnership feasibility.
- Develop strategic collaborations for lab infrastructure, technology platforms, sponsored projects, research and professional certifications.
- Drive applied research, faculty development, student innovation, live projects and technology commercialisation.
- Collaborate with academic, research and innovation teams to align CoE initiatives with industry needs.




- Explore corporate sponsorships, research grants, consultancy opportunities and sustainable business models for CoEs.
- Monitor implementation, utilisation and measurable outcomes of all CoE initiatives.

A strategic and execution-oriented skilled who can bridge the gap between industry, academia and innovation by building partnerships, establishing advanced technology labs and creating meaningful opportunities for students, faculty and industry. Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

Qualifications

- Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Management or a relevant discipline.
- Preferably 5–10 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated leadership capability.
- Strong, established industry network and experience in industry relations, business development, innovation management, technology partnerships or research collaboration.
- Proven ability to convert industry relationships into strategic partnerships, sponsored laboratories, funded projects and tangible outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and project execution skills.
