Job Title: DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Purpose:

To take hands-on technical ownership of cloud infrastructure, DevOps automation, deployment pipelines, security, monitoring, and operational reliability for Immersive Technologies' web portal and next-generation Computer-Assisted Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Navigation ecosystem.

The role will focus on designing, deploying, securing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure supporting web-based applications, backend APIs, databases, Android navigation applications, and surgery-related records. The engineer will establish automated CI/CD pipelines for web portal releases and Android APK distribution, implement robust backup and disaster recovery mechanisms, and ensure secure communication between wearable devices, smart glasses, backend services, and the web portal.

The position requires strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization, CI/CD, application security, release management, and production operations. Experience in healthcare technology, regulated industries, medical-device software, or secure SaaS platforms will be a significant advantage.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Availability, reliability, and performance of cloud infrastructure and production services.
- Successful implementation and maintenance of automated CI/CD pipelines for the web portal and Android applications.




- Reduction in deployment failures, build errors, manual release activities, and recovery time.
- Reliability and traceability of Android APK signing, packaging, versioning, and distribution.
- Successful implementation of secure HTTPS/TLS communication across API endpoints.
- Effectiveness of access controls, secrets management, encryption, and security monitoring.
- Reliability of database backup, restoration, disaster recovery, and retention mechanisms.
- Successful completion of scheduled backup validation and disaster recovery tests.
- Timely detection, investigation, and resolution of infrastructure and production incidents.
- Effectiveness of monitoring, alerting, centralized logging, and root-cause analysis.
- Quality of infrastructure automation and consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
- Compliance with approved data-protection, access-control, audit-trail, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Successful deployment and update management across supported Android devices and smart glasses.
- Quality and completeness of infrastructure documentation, release records, and operational runbooks.
- Productive cloud resource utilization and adherence to infrastructure cost targets.
- Timely resolution of infrastructure, deployment, connectivity, and integration issues.
- Contribution to improving the scalability, security, maintainability, and operational resilience of the Computer-Assisted TKR Navigation platform.
