Position Overview A detail-oriented, enthusiastic candidate with a scientific temperament and market awareness to join our health sciences team. As a development editor one would need to maintain exceptional pedagogical value, clarity, scientific accuracy, and global publishing standards.

Key Responsibilities ∙

Content Analysis: Verify content completeness and coordinate artwork details with medical illustrators. ∙

Copyediting Style & TerminologyOversight: Enforce copyediting style compliance for level heads, medical terms, dosages, and pharmaceutical names. ∙

Author relationship management: Guide authors through manuscript submission requirements, guidelines and schedules. ∙

Compliance & Permissions: Audit manuscripts for publication ethics, patient privacy, and permissions. ∙

Workflow & ScheduleManagement:



Manage production schedules to ensure timely delivery across all stages. ∙

Stakeholder management: Align with internal teams like production, marketing and sales on schedules and specifications.

ducation, Technical and Preferred Competencies ∙Education: A Master’s or PhD in life sciences is a strong plus. ∙

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (Track Changes, style macros), Adobe Acrobat Pro. ∙Sound interpersonal communication and a team playing skills who has the capability to amicably work with multiple teams.
