Role Description The Desktop Support Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Secunderābād. This role involves providing technical support for desktop computers, laptops, and related hardware, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

The Desktop Support

Engineer will diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, support printers, and perform routine troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Daily responsibilities include responding to user support requests, documenting issues and resolutions, coordinating with other technical teams when needed, and ensuring systems are functioning efficiently and securely.



The role also requires transparent communication with end users and adherence to company processes and service standards.

Qualifications

- Ability to support and maintain desktop computers and laptops, including basic operating system and application setup.
- Strong technical support skills, with experience handling user queries and providing step-by-step guidance.
- Printer support skills, including installation, configuration, and resolving common printing issues.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware and software problems, with a methodical approach to issue resolution.
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and their compatibility, replacement, and upgrade procedures.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addressing) is beneficial.
- Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and customers.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field is preferred; prior experience in a desktop or field support role is an advantage.
