Project Allocation and Initial Setup

- Allocate projects based on emails from the Design Head.

- Understand the BOM and other necessary documents shared by the Design Head.

- Identify the reference drawing using the Work Order number provided.

- Locate the reference files in the design database and create a folder for them.

- Select and use the drawing with the highest matching reference.

Design Process and Communication

- Make necessary changes to the design based on the selected reference.

- Send the drawing for approval to Rakesh.

- Prepare the BOM after getting approval from Rakesh.

- Update the database into ERP for the prepared BOM requirement.

- Send the BOM (PDF version) to the purchase, stores, and production departments.

- Prepare fabrication drawings from the GA drawing.

- Send fabrication drawings to the fabricator suggested by the Design Head.

- Prepare and send the label list (Excel) to the purchase department.

- Provide final drawings to the production department after receiving the panel from the fabricator.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

- Troubleshoot design issues with the production contractor as required.

- Provide final drawings (as-billed) during dispatch.

- Send emails to the service department for programming the PLC when required.

- Review the production and testing work for the panels designed by the engineer.

- Troubleshoot issues related to design, fabrication, or testing as they arise.

Client Communication and Approval





- Send designs for approval to the client with Design Head and Rakesh in the loop.

- Review client comments and revise drawings accordingly.

- Resend revised drawings to the client for approval.

- After client approval, prepare and submit the BOM.

- Ensure the BOM is approved by the Design Head/Rakesh.

Coordination with Other Teams

- Communicate with the production team to ensure assembly mounting and service points are considered.

- Work closely with the Owner and Rakesh for Jupiter and Yamuna projects.

- Manage email communication from the sales team for project initiation.

- Review and note work order numbers for Jupiter and Themis projects.

- Consolidate and review old project designs from the design database that meet the current project requirements.

- Finalize designs based on the current project requirements.

Fabrication and Inspection

- Share AutoCAD drawings of the panel with all fabricators.

- Collect PO numbers from the purchase department and send them to the fabricator.

- Review and approve nesting drawings from the fabricator.

- Provide GA drawings to the QC department for fabrication inspection.

- Verify cutouts of fabrication after receiving material from powder coating.

Production and Testing Support

- Provide final drawings to the production department after testing approval to share with the client.

- Support service engineers in designing circuit diagrams for physical execution, when necessary.
