Purpose of the Role
- Understand design inputs and part function/VoC, convert them into engineering requirements (ER), and meet NPI milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- 3D modelling of complex geometries in a multi-CAD tool workplace.
- Surface design.
- GD&T.;
- 2D drawing preparation, including detailing of complex and critical features.
- Design and technical report generation.
- Understanding of DFX.
- Working knowledge of MBD.
- Working knowledge of CAX tools.
