Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Pune District.

The Design

Engineer will be responsible for designing cable products and related components, preparing detailed drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and customer requirements. Daily tasks include working with CAD tools, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, and supporting product development from concept through prototyping and validation.



The role involves analyzing performance data, optimizing designs for manufacturability, cost, and reliability, and preparing technical documentation and bills of materials.

The Design

Engineer will also support cross-functional teams in quality, production, and sales engineering to address design changes, customer queries, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to translate requirements into practical cable solutions.
- Applied expertise in Mechanical Engineering for component design, material selection, and structural integrity analysis.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for 2D/3D modeling and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles related to cables, insulation, conductivity, and safety standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Design Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial standards, and quality practices in cable or related industries.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and work on-site in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in industrial cable design, electronics, or similar engineered products is an advantage.
