: Derivatives Trader – US & Indian Markets

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Derivatives Trader to execute and monitor futures and options strategies across US and Indian markets. The candidate must have hands-on experience with Interactive Brokers (IBKR) and a strong understanding of derivatives trading, market analysis, execution, and risk management. Knowledge of the XTS trading platform is also required.

Key Responsibilities

Execute and monitor futures and options trades across US and Indian markets.

Use IBKR for live trading, order placement, position monitoring, and trade execution.

Analyze options Greeks, implied volatility, market trends, and derivatives pricing.

Monitor portfolio exposure, margins, real-time P&L;, and trading risks.

Implement hedging strategies and manage positions within defined risk limits.

Work with XTS and trading APIs for order execution and market data integration.

Analyze historical and live market data to identify trading opportunities and improve strategies.

Maintain daily trade records, P&L; reports, position sheets, and risk monitoring reports.

Collaborate with quantitative research and technology teams to improve trading strategies and execution systems.





Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory: Hands-on experience with Interactive Brokers (IBKR) for derivatives trading.

Strong understanding of futures and options, option Greeks, implied volatility, and hedging.

Knowledge of US derivatives markets and Indian markets, including relevant US exchanges and NSE/MCX.

Working knowledge of the XTS trading platform; experience with its API is preferred.

Understanding of order types, execution mechanisms, margin requirements, and risk management.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel.

Python, SQL, and algorithmic trading experience are advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience trading equity index, commodity, or futures and options strategies.

Exposure to automated execution, trading APIs, and strategy backtesting.

Knowledge of volatility strategies, delta hedging, and portfolio risk management.

Relevant NISM certifications or equivalent derivatives-market qualifications.

Ideal Candidate A disciplined, analytical trader with proven IBKR trading experience, sound derivatives knowledge, and the ability to manage execution, risk, and trading performance across US and Indian markets.
