Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to support our dental team in providing high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of dental procedures, instrument sterilization, patient preparation, and chairside assistance while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

1. Chairside Assistance

- Assist dentists during dental examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Prepare dental instruments, materials, and equipment before procedures.
- Provide chairside support during procedures such as scaling, fillings, root canal treatments, extractions, and other dental treatments.
- Handle suction equipment, dental instruments, and materials efficiently.

2. Patient Care & Coordination

- Prepare patients for dental examinations and procedures.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide necessary assistance before, during, and after treatment.
- Guide patients on post-treatment care as instructed by the dentist.
- Coordinate patient appointments and maintain smooth patient flow.

3. Sterilization & Infection Control

- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment.
- Follow hospital infection control protocols and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dental treatment rooms.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of sterilized instruments.

4. Equipment & Inventory Management

- Maintain dental chairs, instruments,



and equipment in proper working condition.
- Monitor dental consumables and report stock requirements.
- Ensure availability of necessary materials for scheduled procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions to the concerned department.

5. Documentation & Administrative Support

- Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Coordinate with dentists, nurses, and other hospital departments.
- Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and confidentiality guidelines.

Educational Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Dental Assistance / Dental Hygiene or a relevant healthcare qualification.
- Candidates with relevant dental clinic or hospital experience may also be considered.

Experience
- 1–3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a hospital or multispecialty dental clinic.
- Freshers with relevant training may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and terminology.
- Understanding of sterilization and infection control practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to assist dentists efficiently during procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Patient-focused approach with a professional attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Preferred Candidate Profile A responsible, compassionate, and detail-oriented professional who can provide efficient chairside assistance, ensure patient comfort, and maintain high standards of hygiene and clinical support. Pay: ₹8,600.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
