WE’RE HIRING | ASSISTANT MANAGER – DATA PRIVACY

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Data Privacy to join our Information Security team in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Data Privacy, Privacy Governance, Risk Assessments, Regulatory Compliance, and Data Protection and will work closely with business, technology, legal, compliance, and information security teams.

Key Responsibilities

Support implementation and maintenance of the enterprise-wide Data Privacy Framework

Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and privacy risk assessments

Monitor compliance with applicable privacy laws, regulations, policies, and standards

Develop and review privacy policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines

Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and data inventories

Support data classification, retention, consent management, and data principal rights processes

Embed privacy requirements into new systems, products, business processes, and third-party engagements

Support internal/external audits, regulatory inspections,



and compliance reviews

Participate in privacy incident investigations and data breach response activities

Conduct employee privacy awareness and training programs

Review vendor privacy controls and perform third-party privacy due diligence

What We’re Looking For

6–8 years of experience in Data Privacy, Information Security, Compliance, Risk Management, or related domains

Hands-on experience in privacy assessments, compliance monitoring, and privacy governance

Robust understanding of privacy risk management and regulatory requirements

Experience in regulated industries such as Financial Services, Banking, FinTech, Stock Exchanges, or Capital Markets will be preferred

Preferred Certifications

Candidates with one or more of the following certifications will have an advantage:

CIPP | CIPM | CIPT | DCPP | ISO 27701 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
