XML International is seeking an experienced Solution Data Architect to support the design and delivery of scalable, secure and enterprise-aligned technology solutions in a complex international business environment.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced architecture professional with a strong background in Microsoft Azure, Databricks, enterprise data platforms, solution architecture and data governance , and an interest in enabling modern analytics and AI capabilities.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into robust solution architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, technology strategies and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution architectures aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Design end-to-end solutions spanning data, applications, integration, cloud infrastructure, security and technology domains.
- Architect enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Azure, Databricks and cloud-native technologies .
- Develop architecture models, solution designs, technical documentation and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
- Design and support data products, semantic models, advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
- Incorporate data governance principles, including metadata management, data lineage, data quality and data discoverability.
- Apply architecture frameworks and modelling standards such as TOGAF and ArchiMate .
- Use architecture and data modelling tools, including Bizzdesign and Erwin Data Modeler.




- Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Product Owners, business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Evaluate architectural alternatives, document technical trade-offs and identify risks.
- Ensure solutions comply with security, privacy, regulatory and operational requirements.
- Participate in architecture reviews, solution assessments, Agile planning and governance forums.
- Support implementation teams in resolving technical challenges and maintaining architectural integrity.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and opportunities to improve enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Digital/IT , including exposure to solution architecture, data engineering, systems integration, data delivery or platform design.
- Strong understanding of solution architecture across data, application, integration, cloud, technology and security domains.
- Hands-on experience designing enterprise data platforms using Microsoft Azure and Databricks .
- Experience designing data, analytics and AI solutions, including data products, semantic models and advanced analytics capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data lineage and data quality.




- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks and modelling standards, particularly TOGAF and ArchiMate.
- Experience using architecture and data modelling tools such as Bizzdesign and Erwin Data Modeler.
- Understanding of machine learning, generative AI and modern AI architecture patterns.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
- Ability to evaluate architectural alternatives, manage technical trade-offs and support architecture governance.
- Experience working in complex enterprise environments with large-scale technology landscapes.
- Professional proficiency in English.
