Job Purpose To manage and control all cutting department activities, ensuring accurate fabric spreading, marker placement, cutting quality, fabric utilisation, and timely supply of cut panels to the sewing department as per production plans and buyer specifications.

Required Qualification

- Diploma or degree in Garment Technology, Textile Technology, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- Candidates with strong practical experience in garment cutting may also be considered.

Experience Requirements

- 5–10 years of experience in garment cutting operations preferred.




- Experience in knitwear or woven garment manufacturing is an advantage.
- Practical knowledge of fabric spreading, marker planning, cutting, bundling, and fabric utilisation.
- Experience handling cutting teams and production targets.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

- Knowledge of garment patterns, markers, and size ratios.
- Understanding of fabric GSM, width, shade variation, relaxation, and shrinkage.
- Knowledge of cutting machines and cutting-room operations.
- Basic understanding of CAD marker efficiency and fabric consumption.
- Knowledge of cutting quality standards and bundle control.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
