Job Title: VAPT / Application Security Professional

Job Summary The candidate should have a strong understanding of penetration testing methodologies, OWASP Top 10, vulnerability assessment, and security reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform VAPT for Web Applications, Mobile Applications, APIs, and Networks
- Identify, validate, and assess security vulnerabilities and associated risks
- Conduct application security testing based on OWASP Top 10 and industry best practices
- Use tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, and Kali Linux
- Prepare detailed VAPT reports with findings, risk ratings, evidence, and remediation recommendations
- Perform retesting after vulnerability remediation
- Coordinate with development and IT teams to explain vulnerabilities and recommended fixes
- Support secure SDLC and application security practices
- Stay updated with emerging vulnerabilities and attack techniques

Required Skills




- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in VAPT / Application Security
- Strong knowledge of Web, Mobile, API, and Network Security Testing
- Good understanding of OWASP Top 10
- Hands-on experience with Burp Suite, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, and Kali Linux
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, authentication, authorization, and session management
- Experience in vulnerability validation, risk assessment, and security report preparation
- Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills

Preferred Skills
- Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, eWPT, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Secure SDLC and secure coding practices
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or similar languages
