Job Summary

We are looking for a Crowd Sourcing Specialist Global AI Data Crowd Sourcing to drive global sourcing and onboarding of large volumes of contributors, including crowd workers, freelancers, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), for AI data collection and annotation projects.

The role leverages social networks, digital communities, freelance marketplaces, and crowd platforms to build scalable contributor pipelines across countries, languages, and specialized skill categories. It requires strong execution, excellent communication, and the ability to manage client- and vendor-facing interactions while delivering on project timelines, quality, and cost expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Global Bulk Volume Sourcing
- Drive high-volume sourcing campaigns for global AI data collection and annotation projects.
- Source and engage freelancers, crowd workers, independent contributors, and SMEs across multiple countries and regions.
- Build scalable contributor pipelines to meet aggressive project ramp-up timelines and workforce requirements.
- Execute targeted sourcing campaigns for specific languages, dialects, demographics, skills, and geographies.
- Develop sourcing strategies for both high-volume contributor requirements and niche or specialized talent profiles.

- Identify and participate in language-specific, country-specific, professional, academic, and interest-based communities.

- Identify and engage crowd contributors through platforms such as Appen, Toloka, Prolific, and similar networks, depending on project requirements and platform access.
- Identify and onboard SMEs, domain specialists, language experts, native speakers, and specialized contributors.
- Evaluate sourcing channels based on contributor availability, quality, cost, response rates,



and conversion potential.
- Develop strategies to attract, qualify, engage, and retain contributors for repeat assignments.
- Build sourcing approaches for unfamiliar countries and markets where existing contributor networks are limited.
- AI Data Collection Annotation Sourcing
- Source contributors for AI/ML projects involving image, video, speech/audio, text, sentiment, OCR/document processing, and physical AI or teleoperation.
- Understand project requirements, eligibility criteria, language proficiency, skills, and task complexity before initiating sourcing.
- Coordinate preliminary screening, language verification, skill assessments, and sample-task evaluations.
- Collaborate with project delivery and quality assurance teams to ensure contributors meet project-specific quality standards.
- Support multilingual data collection, regional dialect, and specialized domain requirements.
- Ensure applicable contributor consent, confidentiality, licensing, and documentation requirements are followed.

- Analyze sourcing channel effectiveness and optimize efforts based on conversion, quality, and cost.
- Maintain sourcing trackers, Excel reports, dashboards, and regular project progress updates.
- Identify pipeline gaps, sourcing bottlenecks, and delivery risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate reporting and timely communication of sourcing progress to relevant stakeholders.

Technical Professional Skills Must-Have Skills Experience

- 4 6 years of hands-on experience in global crowd sourcing, bulk/volume hiring, freelancer sourcing, contributor acquisition, or large-scale recruitment sourcing.
- Proven experience sourcing freelancers, crowd workers, independent contributors, and SMEs across global markets.
- Strong hands-on expertise across multiple social networks, online communities, forums, and digital sourcing channels.
- Demonstrated ability to source large volumes of contributors within tight deadlines and across multiple geographies.
- Experience building contributor pipelines for niche skills, language requirements, regional markets, or specialized projects.
- Strong knowledge of freelance marketplaces, online communities, referrals, and alternative sourcing channels.
- Excellent online research, Boolean search, outreach, networking, and profile discovery skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with international stakeholders.
- Skilled, presentable, and client-facing personality, with confidence in participating in meetings and presenting sourcing updates.
- Strong vendor management, relationship-building, follow-up, and coordination skills.
- Good computer skills and proficiency in MS Excel, including data management, filters, sorting, formulas, trackers, and reporting. Familiarity with Pivot Tables and lookup functions is preferred.
