BJ Graph is a customised design and manufacturing company specializing in laser-cut MDF, acrylic and wooden products, personalised gifts, wedding products, corporate gifts, packaging and customised products.

We are looking for an experienced CorelDRAW Designer who has strong practical knowledge of laser cutting design and product development.

This is not a normal graphic-design position. We are specifically looking for someone who understands how to create production-ready laser cutting files

Key Responsibilities

- Create and modify laser-cutting files using CorelDRAW.
- Design MDF, acrylic and wooden boxes based on exact measurements.
- Create box designs with correct length, width, height, thickness, joints, slots and finger joints.
- Prepare production-ready DXF / CDR / SVG and other laser-compatible files.
- Convert customer requirements into accurate cutting designs.
- Design customised products based on measurements and specifications.
- Create engraving and cutting layouts for laser machines.
- Prepare files for MDF, acrylic, plywood, wood and other laser-cutting materials.
- Understand material thickness and kerf compensation when designing boxes and assembled products.
- Create photo engraving files and prepare images for laser engraving.
- Prepare files for text engraving, logo engraving, vector engraving and image engraving.
- Modify existing designs according to production requirements.
- Check designs carefully before sending them for production.
- Coordinate with the laser machine operator and production team.




- Make design corrections when cutting or assembly issues occur.
- Optimize layouts to reduce material wastage.
- Create current product designs for BJ Graph’s customised product range.

Must-Have Skills CorelDRAW – Advanced / Strong Practical Knowledge The candidate should be comfortable with:

- Vector drawing
- Node editing
- Shape tools
- Weld / Trim / Intersect
- Contour
- PowerClip
- Text-to-curves
- Accurate measurements and dimensions
- Scaling
- Object positioning
- Duplicate and alignment tools
- Preparing clean vector files for laser cutting
- Image preparation for engraving

Laser Cutting Knowledge – IMPORTANT The candidate must understand the practical requirements of laser cutting, including:

- MDF thickness
- Acrylic thickness
- Kerf
- Cutting gaps and tolerances
- Slots and joints
- Finger joints
- Box assembly
- Press-fit designs
- Engraving vs cutting
- Cutting order
- Material wastage
- Machine bed size
- Production limitations

Box Design Experience – HIGHLY PREFERRED The candidate should be able to independently create boxes from a simple requirement such as: “I need a 10 × 8 × 4 inch MDF box with a removable lid.”

The designer should be able to calculate the required panels, joints,



slots and measurements and prepare a complete laser-cutting file ready for production.

- Folding / slot-type boxes

Photo Engraving Experience in preparing photographs for CO₂ laser engraving is preferred.

We are looking for a practical production-minded designer, not just someone who knows CorelDRAW.

The ideal candidate should be able to look at a product and understand:

“How will this actually be cut, engraved, assembled and finished?”

The candidate should be able to work independently, understand measurements accurately and solve design problems before the file reaches production.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
