Core Technical Lead – Clean Propulsion & New Technologies

- Location: Mumbai (travel to shipyards and vessels in India and abroad)
- Reports to: Managing Director

Key responsibilities

- Develop technical solutions for clean propulsion: hybrid-electric and battery-electric vessels, energy storage, PMS/EMS, shore connection and charging systems.
- Drive new product development, including AC companies own electronics, fuel monitoring, data logging and IoT-based analytics.
- Evaluate and introduce current technologies and OEM partnerships into the company's offering.
- Prepare system architectures, single-line diagrams, IO lists, BOMs and technical proposals.
- Lead design reviews, PLC/HMI engineering (Siemens preferred), panel design and FAT.
- Coordinate class approval with DNV, LR, ABS, BV, ClassNK and IRS.
- Support commissioning and sea trials on newbuilds and retrofits.




- Mentor junior engineers across disciplines.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, E&TC; or Naval Architecture.
- 8+ years in marine or offshore engineering, with hands-on automation or electrical systems work.
- Exposure to hybrid/electric propulsion, battery systems or alternative fuels is strongly preferred.

Skills

- Strong grasp of marine power systems, propulsion and automation.
- PLC/SCADA, communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, CAN) and power electronics.
- Knowledge of class rules and IMO decarbonisation requirements.

Clear technical writing and client-facing presentation. Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
