About the role

WebQ Media is a Kochi-based digital agency working with clients across India, the Middle East and Europe — performance marketing, SEO, web design, software and an in-house video production studio. We’re hiring a Copywriter cum Content Creator who can do two things well: write copy that sells (ads, landing pages, emails) and create content that gets watched (reels, scripts, carousels). You’ll work across multiple client brands, in multiple industries, every week.

If you only want to write blogs, this isn’t the role. If you want to see your words turn into leads and views, it is.

What you’ll do

- Write ad copy for Meta and Google campaigns — hooks, primary text, headlines — and iterate based on what’s actually performing
- Write landing page, email and WhatsApp copy for client lead-gen funnels
- Script short-form video (reels, talking-head, UGC-style) for our studio shoots and be on set when needed
- Plan and write monthly content calendars for client Instagram/LinkedIn accounts — captions, carousels, hooks
- Be the face or voice of content when needed — on-camera for reels, voice-overs for scripts (our editors handle the cut)
- Adapt tone across clients — a hospital, a real estate developer and a coaching institute shouldn’t sound the same
- Work with designers,

What you’ll bring Must-haves:

- 1–3 years writing copy or creating content for brands (agency or in-house)
- A portfolio of real work — ads, reels, landing pages, posts — with results where you have them
- Solid English; Malayalam writing/speaking a big plus for regional clients
- Understanding of what makes short-form video work: hooks, pacing, retention
- Able to handle 4–6 client brands at once without the tone bleeding between them

Nice-to-haves:
- Comfortable on camera or doing voice-overs
- Experience with Meta Ads copy specifically (you’ve seen CTR/CPL numbers on your own copy)
- Basic SEO writing knowledge
- Hindi or Arabic for Middle East clients

Working at WebQ

- Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays off
- Flexible check-in between 9:30 and 10:30 am, 9-hour day
- Work from home 2 days a month

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
