Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Control & Instrumentation Engineer based in Tuni. The engineer will be responsible for implementing and maintaining process control systems across batch-type, DCS-based production units, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring and optimizing control loops, configuring and maintaining field instruments, participating in preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting plant start-ups, shutdowns, and process modifications.

The role involves troubleshooting instrumentation and control issues,



coordinating with electrical and mechanical teams, and ensuring calibration and documentation are maintained in accordance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, support projects and audits, and help train operations staff on proper use of instrumentation and control systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Process Control, including DCS/PLC-based control systems, loop tuning, and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess solid Instrumentation skills, covering selection, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of field instruments such as transmitters, control valves, and analyzers.
- Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving faults in control systems, field instrumentation, and related process equipment.
- Candidates should possess foundational Electrical Engineering skills relevant to instrumentation wiring, panels, safety practices, and interface with power systems.
- Candidates should possess hands-on Calibration skills for pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical instruments, with accurate documentation and adherence to standards.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- Experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or process industries, preferably in batch-type and DCS-based plants.
- Knowledge of safety standards, P&IDs;, instrumentation drawings, and good engineering practices.
