Role & responsibilities

- Diagnosis and Assessment: Evaluate complex GI conditions, review advanced imaging or endoscopic reports, and determine whether a surgical approach is required. [1, 2, 3]
- Performing Surgeries: Conduct operations on the esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, rectum, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, and bile ducts. This includes both traditional open surgery and minimally invasive techniques like laparoscopy and robotic-assisted surgery. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
