Role Description: The Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The engineer will perform CFD simulations to analyse fluid flow, aerodynamics, heat transfer, and thermal behaviour for various engineering applications.



Day-to-day tasks include developing and validating numerical models, setting up and running simulations, interpreting results, and preparing clear technical reports and presentations.

The role involves close collaboration with software developers and multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate CFD insights into product design and optimisation. The engineer will also support troubleshooting, optimisation studies, and continuous improvement of internal analysis workflows and tools.

What You’ll Do:

- Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations for industrial and research projects
- Work on thermal, flow, and fluid-structure interaction problems using industry-standard tools
- Support training programmes and knowledge transfer to students and industry professionals
- Collaborate with partners, academic institutions, and industry clients
- Prepare technical reports, simulation outputs, and client deliverables

What We’re Looking For:

- Hands-on experience in CFD tools (SIMULIA, ANSYS Fluent or equivalent)
- Strong fundamentals in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and numerical methods
- Experience with meshing, pre-processing, solver setup, and post-processing
- Valuable technical writing and communication skills
- PhD candidates with a research background in CFD are especially encouraged to apply
