Role & responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions, purchase orders (POs), and related documentation.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchase requirements.
- Maintain vendor databases, procurement records, and purchase reports.
- Monitor inventory requirements and avoid delays due to material shortages.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase-related documents.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Required Skills




- Positive negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
- Knowledge of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and procurement documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- SAP is preferred.
