Reporting manager: Lead - AR Grade: L4 Analyst

Location: Gurgaon, India GCC Work Mode: Hybrid/ Onsite Shift: IST 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Role description (where you fit) We are looking for a diligent Collection Specialist to join our global finance team. You sit in the Order-to-Cash team and provide collections coverage for customers in Australia and New Zealand during their business hours. You will keep ANZ receivables current, resolve billing queries and follow up systematically, escalating complex cases to senior team members.

Key responsibilities

- Contact customers for payment reminders and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Monitor and manage ANZ and US AR to keep records accurate and up to date.
- Run a systematic follow-up process by aging bucket to collect outstanding payments.
- Escalate advanced collections issues and payment-plan negotiations to the AR Lead or Assistant Controller.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues related to invoicing or collections




- Update and maintain customer records with accurate contact and payment information.
- Evaluate delinquent accounts and recommend collection-agency referral.
- Work with Billing, Services and Sales to resolve invoicing and customer issues across time zones.
- Prepare AR status and aging reports for management.

Required qualification and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 3–5 year of collections experience required.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and the AR cycle.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; neutral English accent and confident phone etiquette.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct and Salesforce is preferred; robust Excel skills.
- Experience with ANZ customers, GST invoicing or multi-currency AR is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Comfort with an early-morning India shift aligned to ANZ hours.
