1. Job Summary

Responsible for operating CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components as per engineering drawings, dimensional specifications, and production requirements while maintaining quality, productivity, and workplace safety.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC turning machines to manufacture precision components as per production drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and machining instructions.
- Perform machine setting, tool loading, tool offset adjustments, and workpiece clamping.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Monitor machining operations and ensure components meet specified quality standards.
- Inspect components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Perform first-piece inspection and in-process dimensional checks.
- Identify tool wear, machining defects, dimensional variations, and machine abnormalities.
- Carry out tool changes and basic troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain production targets, cycle times, and component quality.




- Follow preventive maintenance schedules and maintain machine cleanliness.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and identification of raw materials and finished components.
- Follow 5S, safety procedures, and company quality standards.
- Coordinate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and the production team to achieve daily targets.

1. Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in CNC turning machine operation.
- Basic knowledge of CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, or Mitsubishi.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T; basics.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, tool offsets, and machining parameters.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Basic understanding of machining tolerances, surface finish, and quality inspection.
- Knowledge of CNC program editing and troubleshooting is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and meet production deadlines.

1. Educational Qualification & Experience

- ITI in Machinist / Turner or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in CNC turning operations.
- Experience in precision components, jigs and fixtures, or automation component manufacturing is preferred.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹34,000.00 per month
