Role Description The CNC VMC HMC Programmer is a full time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. The role involves creating, optimizing, and updating CNC programs for VMC and HMC machines, ensuring efficient and accurate machining of castings and precision components. Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, selecting tools and cutting parameters, setting up machining operations, and coordinating with operators to validate first-off parts.

The programmer will monitor machining performance, troubleshoot issues,



adjust programs for quality and productivity, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet delivery targets and quality standards is an integral part of this position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong CNC Programming and Programming skills for VMC and HMC operations.
- Candidates should possess solid Machining and Milling skills for precision component manufacturing.
- Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret Technical Drawing and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, machining parameters, and process optimization.
- Experience with CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Siemens, or similar) and CAM software is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in an automotive or heavy engineering environment working with castings is beneficial.
- Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively on the shop floor.
