Chief Architect (Design Authority)

The Chief Architect ensures we build the right core, data, and AI capabilities for the long term. This role can potentially be leveraged across SF, SHFL, and RS.

Key accountabilities

· Owns what we build and how it is designed

- Target‑state architecture (core, data, AI, integrations)
- Technology and data standards
- Chairs the Architecture Review Board (ARB)
- Owns reference architectures, guardrails, and design principles
- Ensures architectural coherence across:

o Core modernisation
- - Data platform usage
- Internal SaaS
- AI proliferation

- Prevents short‑term delivery decisions that create long‑term technical debt
- Maximises long‑term platform reuse and scalability
