Role & responsibilities

- Supervise chemical receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control.

- Maintain accurate chemical inventory and stock records.

- Verify chemical labeling, condition, leakage, and expiry status.

- Ensure availability of current SDS/MSDS for all chemicals.

- Store and segregate chemicals according to hazard classification.

- Conduct routine inspections of chemical storage areas.

- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment.

- Ensure safe handling, disposal, PPE compliance, and HSE adherence.

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Sc. in Chemistry, Material Science, Diploma, or equivalent science qualification preferred.

- Experience in chemical stores, laboratory operations, or inventory management preferred.

- Knowledge of SDS/MSDS, GHS labeling, and chemical compatibility requirements.

- Understanding of PPE requirements,



spill response, and hazardous chemical storage.

- Familiarity with chemical handling, storage, and safety procedures.

- Basic computer proficiency for inventory and stock management.

- Ability to maintain accurate inventory, inspection, and documentation records.

- Solid awareness of laboratory HSE and regulatory compliance requirements.
