Role Description The Chartered Accountant Articleship Trainee will support the firm’s engagements across accounting, auditing, taxation, and company law matters. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in statutory and internal audits, preparing working papers, maintaining books of accounts, and supporting tax computations and filings for individuals and entities. The trainee will help with ROC and company law compliance, drafting financial reports, and preparing documentation for management consultancy assignments.





The role also involves research on accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory changes, as well as coordinating with clients for data collection and query resolution. This is an internship role, based on-site at the firm’s office in Kochi, offering structured practical training under professional supervision.

Qualifications

- Registered CA student (IPCC/Intermediate cleared as per ICAI requirements) with eligibility for articleship training.
- Strong foundation in Accounting principles, Auditing concepts, Taxation (direct and indirect), and basic Company Law.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and accounting software; familiarity with Tally or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare working papers, and document findings with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated integrity, qualified ethics, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Preference for candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Kochi for in office training.
