Yagen Robotics seeks a CAD Designer with strong SolidWorks proficiency, sound mechanical design fundamentals, and substantial hands-on robotics experience. The role involves developing precise mechanical designs, engineering drawings, and assemblies for robotic products, and supporting their progression from concept through prototyping and testing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop parametric 3D models and assemblies in SolidWorks for robot structures, enclosures, mechanisms, and component interfaces.

2. Prepare detailed engineering drawings with appropriate dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, and assembly information.

3. Design the mechanical integration of motors, actuators, sensors, electronic assemblies, and wiring, accounting for fit, access, and functionality.

4. Evaluate assembly clearances, interference, and mechanism movement; resolve design issues before fabrication.

5. Work with electronics and production teams to support prototyping, assembly, testing, and design refinement.

6. Maintain organised CAD models, drawings, bills of materials, and revision records.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :





1. B.Tech degree is mandatory, in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a relevant engineering discipline.

2. Strong practical SolidWorks skills in sketching, parametric part modelling, assemblies, mates, and engineering drawings.

3. Sound understanding of mechanical principles, materials, tolerances, assembly fits, and manufacturability.

4. A substantial portfolio of hands-on robotics projects and a strong record of active participation in robotics events.

5. Practical understanding of robotic mechanisms, motors, actuators, sensors, and mechanical integration with electronics.

6. Ability to explain individual project contributions, design decisions, technical challenges, and solutions.

7. Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, explicit technical communication, and effective teamwork.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
