Job Title: US Accounting Associate (CA Inter)

Location: Mysore (On-site / Hybrid)

Shift: US hours (approx. 4 PM – 1 AM IST)

Experience: Minimum 2 years post-articleship

About the Role

We provide outsourced accounting and SEC reporting support to US-listed companies. You will work on month-end and quarter-end close for US clients, alongside experienced controllers. We use AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT daily to work faster and smarter.

Responsibilities

- Bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliations
- AP processing, vendor reconciliations and AP aging review
- Accruals, prepaids and amortization schedules
- Journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Support monthly / quarterly close, trial balance and consolidation workbooks
- Debt, equity and fixed asset rollforwards
- Prepare audit support and respond to auditor queries
- Support 10-Q / 10-K workpapers
- Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) for reconciliations, analysis,



Excel work and drafting client emails

Requirements

- CA Inter (one or both groups cleared) with articleship completed
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience after articleship
- Solid basics in accounting, reconciliations and journal entries
- Good Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivots)
- Hands-on use of AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT for daily work
- Clear written English for US client communication
- Comfortable working US shift hours

Good to Have

- US GAAP exposure
- Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, NetSuite or Xero
- Exposure to audit, consolidation or SEC reporting
