Role Description The Business Development Trainee role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The trainee will support business growth by identifying potential clients, assisting with lead generation activities, and participating in outreach campaigns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and helping prepare sales presentations and proposals.

The role also involves coordinating with internal teams to follow up on prospects, maintaining accurate records in CRM tools,



and providing basic customer service support as needed. The trainee will receive guidance and training to develop business development skills and contribute to the company’s sales and client engagement initiatives.

- Strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, assess market trends, and support business decisions.
- Effective Communication abilities for client interactions, presentations, and collaboration with internal teams.
- Lead Generation and Market Research skills to identify prospects, understand customer needs, and map competitive landscapes.
- Customer Service skills to respond to inquiries, support client relationships, and ensure a positive experience.
- Ability to learn quickly, adapt to a dynamic environment, and work both independently and in a team.
- Proficiency with basic office software and familiarity with CRM or sales tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
- Interest in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or SaaS industry will be beneficial.
