Looking for a Business Development Manager with 3-5 years of experience in a B2B marketing agency. The role involves identifying prospective companies, understanding their marketing requirements, presenting relevant services, and managing opportunities through the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

- Identify prospective clients and generate recent business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a pipeline through outreach, meetings and regular follow-up.
- Understand client objectives, event requirements and target audiences.
- Present and sell B2B event services, including event planning and execution and related marketing support.
- Coordinate with internal departments to prepare proposals and deliver a smooth handover for confirmed projects.
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through proposal, negotiation and closure.
- Work towards new business and revenue targets.
- Build client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business and additional services.





Requirements:

- 3-5 years of business development or sales experience within a B2B marketing agency.
- Experience selling B2B event services or related marketing services.
- Good understanding of the B2B marketing agency environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with other departments.
- Organised and confident in managing prospects and opportunities through the sales process.

Experience in the b2b event industry is a must.
